Job Purpose

Lead preparation and delivery of project specifications, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and integration with design documentation while mentoring junior writers.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

- Lead preparation of specifications from concept to IFC stage.
- Ensure specifications meet codes, standards, and client expectations.
- Represent the discipline in meetings and technical reviews.

Mentorship & Development
- Provide oversight and mentoring to junior writers.
- Deliver training on codes, standards, and innovations.

Project Coordination
- Collaborate with project managers to align specs with schedules and budgets.
- Engage in vendor/product evaluations.

Qualifications
