Key Responsibilities

Assess children’s learning abilities, developmental needs, strengths, and areas requiring support.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on each child’s specific needs.

Provide structured, goal-oriented educational interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental delays.

Support the development of communication, cognitive, pre-academic, academic, social, and adaptive life skills.

Use appropriate teaching strategies, visual aids, activity-based learning, and positive reinforcement techniques.

Monitor children’s progress, maintain session records, and prepare periodic progress reports.

Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, behaviour therapists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure holistic child development.

Guide parents and caregivers on home-based learning strategies and activities.

Maintain a safe, inclusive, supportive, and child-friendly learning environment.

Participate in team meetings, case discussions, parent consultations, and training sessions.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education,



such as B.Ed. Special Education or an equivalent relevant qualification.

Relevant RCI-recognized qualifications and registration, where applicable to the role.

Knowledge of individualized education plans, child development, and inclusive teaching practices.

Strong observation, communication, documentation, and classroom management skills.

Patience, empathy, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.

Freshers with the relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
