Role Description The Solar Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in Tharad.

The Solar

Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar PV systems, including layout planning, component selection, and electrical configurations in line with project requirements and industry standards. Daily tasks include reviewing technical drawings, performing energy yield calculations, coordinating with project teams for installation and commissioning, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. The role involves troubleshooting system performance issues, preparing technical documentation and reports,



and supporting cross-functional collaboration with procurement, construction, and quality teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the solar industry and solar power, with familiarity in utility-scale or commercial solar projects.
- Candidates should possess experience working with solar systems, including system components, configurations, and performance assessment.
- Candidates should possess skills in PV design, including array layout, string sizing, shading analysis, and energy yield estimation.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in electrical design, including single-line diagrams, cable sizing, protection schemes, and grid interconnection requirements.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field, along with proficiency in PV design software and CAD tools, are beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to interpret technical standards, and effective communication for collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams are advantageous.
- Experience with on-site project execution, understanding of safety practices, and willingness to work at project locations are preferred.
