Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer II with a strong background in web analytics quality assurance, marketing technology (MarTech), and test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience validating Adobe Web SDK implementations, digital analytics tracking, data layer schemas, event payloads, and automated API testing.

The candidate will collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of web analytics implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement end-to-end testing strategies for client-side data layers and Adobe Web SDK (alloy.js) implementations.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using JavaScript and Python.
- Validate event payloads, data layer schemas, event naming conventions, and analytics tag firing.
- Test integrations involving Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Target, and Audience Manager.
- Build automated validation tools to identify data inconsistencies and tracking implementation issues.
- Develop and maintain automated API test suites for analytics and event-driven integrations.
- Translate business and tracking requirements into detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform regression, cross-browser, and cross-device testing for websites and single-page applications.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, product, and business stakeholders to resolve defects and improve tracking quality.
- Maintain test documentation, defect reports,



and quality metrics using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Support test automation integration with CI/CD pipelines and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of relevant experience in software quality engineering, test automation, web analytics QA, or MarTech testing.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Web SDK (alloy.js) and Adobe Analytics implementations.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Python for test automation.
- Experience validating data layers, event payloads, analytics tracking, and tag implementations.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining automated API test suites.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Target, and related analytics integrations.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, regression testing, and defect management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform Debugger and ObservePoint.
- Experience testing single-page applications and modern web architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience improving test automation coverage and performance within CI/CD environments.

Important Note This is a remote contract chance for candidates based in India. Candidates must be comfortable working hours that overlap with the US business schedule and meet the technical requirements for Adobe Web SDK testing, JavaScript/Python automation, and API test automation.
