Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer – React Native & AI-Enabled Full Stack Development

About the Role

We are looking for a versatile Software Engineer with strong experience in React Native, React.js and TypeScript, who is enthusiastic about leveraging AI-powered development tools to build, enhance and maintain modern applications.

The role involves taking ownership of mobile applications while contributing to web frontend and backend development as needed.

We are looking for an engineer who is proficient in AI-assisted software development, leveraging tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or OpenAI Codex to accelerate development, testing, debugging and delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to use AI effectively to deliver high-quality solutions across the application stack.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development

- Develop, maintain and enhance cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Take ownership of Android and iOS application builds, deployments, releases and production support.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot application performance, compatibility and production issues.
- Maintain application security, reliability and performance.

Frontend & Backend Development

- Develop and enhance web applications using React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Work with existing backend services and REST APIs built using .NET Core / C#.
- Understand existing application architecture and contribute to backend enhancements when required.
- Collaborate with other engineers to implement features across frontend, mobile and backend components.





AI-Assisted Software Engineering

- Actively use AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot or equivalent platforms.
- Leverage AI tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, automated testing and documentation.
- Use AI-assisted workflows to understand existing codebases and accelerate feature development.
- Validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability and performance.
- Contribute to improving AI-assisted development practices across the engineering team.

Engineering & Delivery

- Participate in technical design, code reviews and development planning.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Work with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application layers.
- Take ownership of assigned features from development through deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience developing production applications using React Native.
- Good proficiency in React.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling authentication, state management and asynchronous operations.
- Practical experience with Android and iOS application build, debugging and release processes.
- Familiarity with Git, pull requests, code reviews and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and code comprehension skills.




- Experience using AI coding assistants, or demonstrable ability and enthusiasm to adopt AI-assisted development workflows.
- Ability to independently understand and work with existing applications and codebases.

Good to Have

- Working knowledge of .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of mobile application security, secure storage, token-based authentication and performance optimisation.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and AI-assisted test generation.
- Exposure to native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) development.
