Role Description The Software & Business Research Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting product, business, and market insights for J Generation’s SaaS solutions and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and competitor research, gathering and analyzing data on customer needs, and summarizing findings into clear reports and presentations for internal teams. The intern will help evaluate product features, identify opportunities for improvement, and support business strategy decisions through structured research.

This role also involves collaborating with product, marketing, and engineering team members, documenting research methodologies,



and contributing written content that supports knowledge sharing within the organization.

Eligibility:

Pursuing 1st, 2nd, 3rd year college students on any degree program related to Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred.

Qualifications

- Strong Market Research and Research skills to collect, organize, and interpret information about industries, competitors, and customer segments.
- Solid Analytical Skills to work with qualitative and quantitative data and derive clear, actionable insights.
- Effective Communication and Writing skills to present findings in concise reports, presentations, and internal documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with basic business concepts, SaaS products, or software development processes is an advantage.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) and online research tools.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred.

Stipend:

Up to ₹5000/month.

Work timing:

Flexible. But we need a proper report on each research and analysis by EOD.
