We’re looking for a creative, proactive Social Media Intern who enjoys being on camera, understands Instagram, and wants to tell impactful stories through content.

Role Description The Social Media Intern will support Xcelerator’s online presence by creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, assisting with visual content briefs, engaging with the online community, and monitoring trends relevant to education, employability, and talent development. The intern will collaborate with the marketing team to align social media activities with broader digital campaigns and brand messaging, and will help track basic performance metrics to refine content.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.





Qualifications

- Ability to create and adapt social media content, including Social Media Content Creation and Social Media Marketing skills.
- Foundational understanding of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles relevant to online campaigns.
- Strong Communication skills, with transparent written and spoken English and the ability to convey ideas concisely.
- Interest in education, careers, and youth-focused initiatives, with a willingness to learn and experiment with recent formats and tools.
- Basic familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) and content scheduling tools is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru.
- Proactive, creative and willing to experiment with new ideas. Someone who takes initiative and can get things moving independently.
