Role Description The Snr BIM Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Chalakkudy, with some flexibility for work from home. This role is responsible for leading and managing multi-disciplinary BIM models across architecture, civil, and MEP disciplines, ensuring accurate coordination and clash-free design solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing detailed construction drawings and shop drawings, overseeing model integrity and standards, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

The Snr BIM Engineer will support project planning and scheduling through model-based workflows, contribute to quantity take-offs and documentation,



and provide guidance to junior team members on BIM processes and best practices. The role also involves liaising with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of BIM outputs and alignment with project objectives and industry standards.

Qualifications

- Solid proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary BIM projects.
- Ability to produce and review detailed Construction Drawings and Shop Drawings aligned with project specifications and local/international standards.
- Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in coordinated models, including clash detection and resolution.
- Background in Architecture and/or Civil Engineering with a solid understanding of structural, architectural, and building services integration.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, or a related discipline; advanced BIM or VDC certifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency in industry-standard BIM and design software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related coordination tools).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, including experience working in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Experience in construction planning, sequencing, and model-based quantity take-off or estimation is beneficial.
