SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) Engineer

Location: Vadodara Experience: 3-5 Years

We are seeking a skilled SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) Engineer with experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation and maintenance of Instrument Index, I/O Lists, and Instrument Datasheets.
- Interpretation and review of P&IDs.;
- Preparation of Loop Drawings, Hook-up Drawings, and Instrument Documentation.
- Creation and maintenance of Junction Box (JB) wiring, cable schedules, and I/O assignments.
- SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools) database management and administration.
- Claim & Merge activities and database maintenance.
- Support engineering activities related to instrumentation design and project execution.
- Creation and modification of EDE views as per project requirements.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools).
- Solid understanding of Instrumentation Engineering and Oil & Gas processes.




- Experience with Instrument Index, I/O Lists, Datasheets, Loop Drawings, and Wiring Diagrams.
- Knowledge of P&ID; review and interpretation.
- Experience with SPI administration activities.
- Working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS platforms.
- Exposure to Database Merge and Claim & Merge activities.

Preferred Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, or relevant discipline.
- Experience in EPC, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas projects.
