Role Description The Senior User Experience Designer is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping intuitive, engaging experiences across Superfan.ng’s web and mobile products. This role involves leading end-to-end UX design, from discovery and concept development to detailed interaction and visual design. Day-to-day tasks include conducting user research, translating insights into user flows and wireframes, building interactive prototypes, and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and content teams.

The Senior User Experience

Designer will help define design standards, iterate on the gamified quiz experience,



and ensure the platform is accessible and enjoyable for diverse users across the African continent and global diaspora.

Qualifications

- Strong User Experience (UX) and Design Thinking skills, with experience leading complex, user-centered design projects.
- Hands-on User Research experience, including planning studies, conducting interviews or tests, and synthesizing insights into clear recommendations.
- Proficiency in Visual Design, with the ability to create clean, culturally resonant interfaces and design systems.
- Advanced Prototyping skills, using modern tools to build and test interactive flows for mobile and web applications.
- Experience designing for consumer-facing digital products, preferably in edtech, gaming, or learning platforms.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and designing for diverse, global audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional setting and communicate design decisions clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in African languages and cultures is highly beneficial.
