Role Description

This full-time, on-site Senior Veterinarian position at The SkinVet in Worli, Mumbai, is designed for an experienced clinician ready to take on strong clinical ownership and senior patient management. Working alongside our specialized team, you will lead complex case workups, oversee comprehensive physical and dermatologic examinations, perform and interpret advanced diagnostic tests, and engineer holistic, long-term treatment plans.

As a senior member of the clinical staff, you will mentor junior team members, uphold high clinical standards, communicate complex diagnoses compassionately to pet caregivers,



maintain transparent medical recordkeeping, and collaborate seamlessly with referring veterinarians to deliver exceptional, specialized care.

Qualifications

- Education & Credentials: Licensed veterinarian (BVSc & AH, MVSc, DVM, or equivalent).
- Clinical Experience: Minimum 3+ years of active hands-on clinical experience in small animal medicine; direct experience or formal training in veterinary dermatology is strongly preferred.
- Clinical Expertise: Proven capability to independently manage complex dermatologic cases, utilize advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., skin scrapings, cytology, trichograms, allergy testing), and design tailored, evidence-based treatment protocols.
- Leadership & Work Ethic: Demonstrated leadership capacity, strong decision-making skills, meticulous attention to detail, and high standards for systematic prescription writing and medical recordkeeping.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for educating pet caregivers, counseling owners through chronic case management, and liaising effectively with referring primary care vets.
- Collaborative Spirit: Comfortable working in a high-standard specialized clinical environment, committed to continuous learning, and willing to contribute to client education initiatives and outreach.
