About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Test / Quality Engineer to drive quality engineering practices across the software delivery lifecycle in a DevOps environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, CI/CD, Agile delivery, and quality engineering methodologies, with a proactive approach to embedding quality from the early stages of development. This role also involves leveraging modern testing practices, including AI-enabled quality engineering, to improve software reliability and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement automated tests at multiple levels (unit, API/contract, integration, UI, end-to-end) ensuring reliable operation within CI/CD.
- Embed quality engineering practices into DevOps delivery with a proactive focus on prevention.
- Conduct risk analysis and develop test strategies aligned with business impact and critical user scenarios.
- Establish and maintain quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance testability and design quality from the outset.
- Monitor and establish key quality metrics for the testing processes.
- Drive improvements to testing frameworks and automation environments.
- Implement non-functional testing practices when applicable.
- Contribute to the transformation roadmap for Test & Quality practices incorporating AI solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.

Technical Skills Required





- Strong experience in Software Quality Engineering within Agile and DevOps environments.
- Hands-on expertise in Test Automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Testing Pyramid principles, including Unit, API, Integration, UI, and End-to-End Testing.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure software delivery.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with API Testing and automated validation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Engineering, defect lifecycle management, and test strategy development.
- Experience with Visual Validation techniques for UI testing.
- Knowledge of automation framework design, test data management, and quality metric.

Additional Preferred Skills

- Experience defining enterprise test strategies and quality metrics.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing or Agent-in-the-Loop testing workflows.
- Knowledge of Design Tokens and UI consistency practices.
- Experience with non-functional testing such as performance or security testing.
- Familiarity with modern AI-enabled software quality engineering practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of skilled experience
