About The Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Security Engineer with expertise in SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to manage security roles, authorizations, and access controls across SAP environments. The role focuses on SAP GRC Access Control, Segregation of Duties (SoD), risk mitigation, and compliance governance. The candidate will collaborate with business, audit, and technical teams to maintain secure and compliant SAP landscapes.

The position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP roles and authorizations across SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud environments. You will manage access governance processes, analyze authorization risks, implement mitigation controls, and support compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

The role includes managing SAP GRC Access Control functions such as Access Risk Analysis, Emergency Access Management, Access Request Management, Business Role Management, and User Access Reviews. You will also support GRC workflows and integrations with SAP Cloud solutions through SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG).

Additionally, you will troubleshoot access issues, support system upgrades and deployments, coordinate with ABAP developers on custom authorization objects, and contribute to technical documentation, audits, operational improvements, and team mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain SAP security roles, authorizations, and profiles across SAP environments.
- Manage SAP GRC Access Control processes, including risk analysis, emergency access, access requests, and user access reviews.
- Conduct Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, remediate authorization risks, and maintain mitigating controls.




- Develop and enhance GRC workflows and support SAP Cloud integrations using SAP IAG.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, governance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot access issues and support SAP upgrades, migrations, deployments, and role cleanup initiatives.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers, business stakeholders, audit teams, vendors, and technical teams.
- Mentor junior engineers, maintain technical documentation, and report security risks with remediation recommendations.
