Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake BI Developer with strong expertise in Snowflake SQL, Advanced SQL, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data warehouse solutions, building reliable data pipelines, performing source-to-target mapping, and ensuring data quality and consistency across systems.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Snowflake development, data migration, data validation, and up-to-date data warehouse methodologies such as Data Vault 2.0. Exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and BI reporting tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Write complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and other database objects to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, load, and process data from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
- Perform source-to-target mapping by analyzing source data structures, defining transformation rules, and mapping data fields to target warehouse tables.




- Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.
- Execute data migration activities from legacy databases or existing data platforms to Snowflake, ensuring minimal data loss and business disruption.
- Optimize SQL queries, warehouse configurations, and data processing workflows to improve performance and manage compute costs.
- Design and implement data models, schemas, fact tables, dimension tables, and other warehouse objects to support reporting and analytics.
- Apply Data Vault 2.0 modelling concepts, including Hubs, Links, and Satellites, where applicable.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, BI developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
- Support integration with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, data discrepancies, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Prepare technical documentation, data mapping specifications, transformation logic, and data validation reports.
- Support BI reporting requirements by providing accurate, structured, and analytics-ready datasets.
- Follow data governance, security, access control, and development standards.
