Role Description The Senior Software Developer | Shemon Software Solutions role is a full-time, hybrid position responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions and workflow systems for a variety of clients and industries. Day-to-day work includes analyzing business requirements, architecting scalable back-end services, writing clean and efficient code, and integrating applications with third-party APIs and internal systems. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, business analysts, and other developers to translate real-world processes into robust software architecture, as well as reviewing code, mentoring developers, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Developer will also participate in solution design discussions, contribute to technical documentation, optimize performance and security, and support ongoing improvements across deployed systems and platforms.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.




- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-ready applications.
- Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and integration services.
- Advanced skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying design patterns in complex systems.
- Experience with development stacks (e.g., Python (Django), JavaScript (React.js), HTML, CSS, Bootstrap) and PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment practices (e.g., AWS - S3, EC2, RDS),Docker, CI/CD, and version control (Git / BitBucket) and Jira Ticketing System.
- Ability to analyze business workflows and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in AI/ML, automation, or enterprise integrations is a plus, as well as prior work with diverse exposure to AI/ML integration, SaaS or enterprise application experience.
