Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant / Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP development, performance optimization, and integration with SAP functional modules, along with exposure to S/4HANA and Fiori applications.

This role requires the ability to lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and deliver high-quality, scalable SAP solutions across multiple business domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP solutions across business modules
- Lead technical design discussions and provide innovative solutions to complex business requirements
- Develop and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Forms (SmartForms/SAPScript), Conversions, and Enhancements (RICEF objects)
- Work extensively on BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, BADIs, and User Exits
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Perform performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization
- Develop and support integrations using FTP/SFTP and external systems
- Work on SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems, including workflow and Fiori applications
- Prepare technical design documents, functional specifications, and unit test cases
- Participate in implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects




- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines
- Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews

Required Skills & Expertise

- Solid expertise in SAP ABAP programming (10+ years)
- Hands-on experience with:
- ALV Reports (Classical & Interactive)
- BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs
- Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits
- SmartForms & SAPScript
- Experience in S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and Workflow development
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization techniques and debugging tools
- Experience in integration via FTP/SFTP and middleware systems
- Understanding of SAP functional modules (MM, SD, FI, etc.)
- Experience in OData services and CDS views (preferred)
- Familiarity with ABAP on HANA concept

Project Experience

- Proven experience in:
- SAP Implementation projects
- Rollouts and system upgrades
- Application support and maintenance

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- SAP certification (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development
