Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP RAP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP, RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), and SAP S/4HANA development. The ideal candidate should have experience in end-to-end implementations, product development, and building scalable, high-quality SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Develop custom business objects, CDS views, and OData services using RAP.
- Work on managed and unmanaged RAP scenarios, including behavior definitions, behavior implementations, and service bindings.
- Develop and enhance SAP S/4HANA applications while adhering to SAP Clean Core principles.
- Build and maintain OData V2/V4 services and integrate SAP applications with external systems.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, from requirement analysis through development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Contribute to end-to-end product development, including solution design, development, testing, and continuous enhancements.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
- Follow SAP development standards, best practices, and code quality guidelines.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.




- Proven experience with SAP ABAP RAP.
- Expertise in Core Data Services (CDS), including CDS view entities and annotations.
- Experience with behavior definitions, behavior implementations, service definitions, and service bindings.
- Strong understanding of OData services and RESTful application development.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and up-to-date ABAP development practices.
- Understanding of SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility approaches.
- Experience in debugging, performance optimization, and technical documentation.

Mandatory Experience Requirements
- Minimum one end-to-end SAP implementation experience.
- Minimum one end-to-end product development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and delivering SAP ABAP RAP applications.
- Ability to independently handle technical development activities across the application lifecycle.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP BTP and side-by-side extensions.
- Knowledge of ABAP Cloud and released APIs.
- Experience with SAP Fiori elements and SAPUI5 integration.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and modern SAP application architecture.

Ideal Candidate Profile A hands-on Senior SAP ABAP RAP Consultant who has successfully delivered at least one end-to-end implementation and one end-to-end product development project, with strong technical expertise in modern ABAP and RAP-based application development.
