Role Description The Senior Quantity Surveyor will provide expert cost management support for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects associated with the German Consulate General Mumbai. This part-time, remote role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), evaluating project costs, and supporting budgeting and financial planning. The role includes monitoring project expenditures, preparing cost reports, and advising on cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

The Senior Quantity

Surveyor will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure accurate cost estimates, compliance with relevant standards, and value for money on all projects.

Qualifications

- Strong cost planning and cost management skills, with the ability to develop and manage project budgets effectively.
- Experience with BOQ preparation and review,



including detailed quantity take-offs and measurement.
- Proficiency in cost control and cost reporting, with the ability to track expenditures and prepare clear, timely reports.
- Sound understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and industry standards.
- Relevant academic qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management for construction or infrastructure projects.
- Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
