Role Description: The Senior Planning Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The individual in this role will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate planning activities, and align timelines with resource availability and site conditions.

The Responsibilities include: monitoring project progress, analysing variances, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track. The Senior Planning Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and production teams to optimise workflows and support cost-effective, timely delivery.

The role also involves preparing planning and progress reports, supporting risk assessments, and contributing to continuous improvement in project control practices.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills to efficiently structure project activities and resources.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret project data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present planning reports clearly.
- Candidates should possess experience in Project Control, including scheduling, tracking milestones, and managing deviations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or certifications in project planning (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in planning and controlling construction projects, preferably in residential, commercial, or institutional sectors.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, timelines, and resource management, with attention to quality and safety standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple projects, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
