Role Description The Senior Merchandiser will oversee the end-to-end merchandising process for furniture and décor handicraft products, ensuring that collections align with market trends and customer requirements. This full-time, on-site role is based in Jodhpur and involves coordinating with design, production, and export teams to manage sampling, product development, order execution, and quality checks.

The Senior

Merchandiser will interact with customers and buyers, prepare quotations, negotiate orders, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. Daily responsibilities include market and trend analysis, maintaining product catalogs,



monitoring inventory levels, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives. The role requires regular documentation, reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to manage client interactions, address inquiries, and build long-term relationships.
- Sales and Retail experience to support order negotiations, upselling opportunities, and showroom or buyer presentations.
- Marketing skills to contribute to product positioning, promotional activities, and visual merchandising for domestic and export markets.
- Experience in furniture, home décor, handicrafts, or related industries, preferably in an export-focused environment.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and projects, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using basic office software; familiarity with ERP or inventory systems is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and understanding of quality standards for international buyers.
- Relevant diploma or degree in merchandising, business, design, or a related field is preferred.
