Job Purpose

We are looking for a strategic, creative and results-driven Senior Manager –

- YouTube with at least 4 years of experience in managing and growing YouTube channels, including experience of handling multiple channels and leading a team. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of YouTube SEO, content strategy, audience engagement, analytics and channel optimization, along with a clear understanding of the UPSC and State PCS (exam-preparation) YouTube ecosystem, its audience and its content formats.

The candidate will be responsible for planning, managing and scaling content across multiple YouTube channels, leading the team, and increasing views, subscribers, watch time, revenue and overall channel performance.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Channel Operations, Team Leadership &

- Content Planning

- Own and oversee the daily operations of multiple YouTube channels (State PCS and other channels).
- Lead, mentor and manage the YouTube team, including YouTube managers/executives and content writers across all channels; set targets and review performance.
- Create and own content calendars and publishing schedules aligned to the PCS exam cycles (Prelims, Mains, Interview) and current affairs.
- Coordinate with video editors, designers and educators to ensure timely, high-quality output.
- Ensure consistent quality, branding and tone across all channels.

YouTube SEO &

- Optimization

- Oversee and Optimize videos for YouTube SEO including:
- Titles
- Descriptions
- Tags
- Keywords
- Thumbnails
- Develop and execute channel-wise YouTube growth strategies for each channel.
- Plan and review playlists, shorts, live classes, and series formats for discoverability.

Analytics, Growth &

- Engagement

- Monitor channel analytics across all channels and prepare performance reports for management.
- Improve audience retention and engagement metrics.
- Oversee community engagement including comments, community posts and audience interaction.
- Implement strategies to increase:




- Subscribers
- Watch hours
- CTR (Click Through Rate)
- Viewer retention

Research, Compliance &

- Trends

- Research trending topics, aspirant needs and competitor strategies in the PCS space.
- Manage YouTube monetization and copyright compliance across all channels.
- Stay updated with the latest YouTube algorithm changes and trends.
