Role Overview:

Meganet Technologies Global Limited is seeking an experienced and strategic Sr. Manager – Tender & Government Business to lead our government sales and tendering operations. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the entire tendering process, including compliance, products, and automation of bidding processes. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth through Government, PSU, BFSI, and corporate sectors while ensuring a seamless and scalable tendering system.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender & Bid Management:

- Lead the end-to-end tendering process for IT Infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Workstations, IT Components).
- Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and tenders to ensure full compliance with government norms and company capabilities.
- Coordinate with OEMs, channel partners, and internal teams to structure winning bids.
- Develop and implement automation strategies for tendering to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Government & PSU Sales:

- Identify, qualify, and manage government sales opportunities, including PSUs, BFSI, and large enterprises.
- Drive strategic partnerships with key government bodies and procurement agencies.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to ensure all government contracts are legally and operationally compliant.
- Expand our presence in GeM (Government e-Marketplace), NIC, and other e-procurement portals.

Compliance & Process Optimization:

- Ensure full compliance with government procurement policies, financial norms, and technical specifications.
- Implement an efficient workflow management system for tracking and optimizing the tendering process.




- Develop a robust documentation and compliance framework to mitigate risks in government contracts.
- Spearhead the development of an automated bid submission and tracking system.

Revenue & Business Growth:

- Build and execute a growth strategy for government sales, ensuring high bid success rates.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government procurement heads, decision-makers, and policy influencers.
- Achieve revenue targets by leveraging multi-channel sales strategies in the government sector.
- Monitor competitor activities and suggest pricing strategies for tenders.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

✔ Industry Expertise: 4+ years of experience in government tendering & sales within the IT Infrastructure sector.

✔ Tender Process Mastery: Deep understanding of government procurement policies, bid evaluation criteria, and compliance frameworks.

✔ GeM Portal Knowledge: Robust hands-on experience in GeM, NIC, CPPP, and other e-tendering platforms.

✔ Tech & Product Knowledge: Familiarity with IT Infrastructure products such as Servers, Storage, Workstations, and IT Components.

✔ Automation & Process Development: Ability to develop a scalable and automated tendering system.

✔ Networking & Relationship Management: Strong connections within Government, PSU, BFSI, and Enterprise segments.

✔ Business Acumen: Experience in pricing strategy, risk mitigation, and competitive analysis for government sales.

✔ Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills to engage with senior government officials and procurement heads.
