Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong SQL expertise to design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with the .NET ecosystem, C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, database performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

The candidate should be comfortable working independently, collaborating with cross-functional teams, resolving complex technical issues, and delivering high-quality, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and application integrations.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Optimize SQL queries, execution plans, indexes, and database performance.
- Troubleshoot application and database performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Design and maintain database schemas, relationships, constraints, and data models.
- Implement secure coding practices, exception handling, logging, and error management.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
- Support application deployments, production issues, bug fixes, and ongoing enhancements.
- Follow coding standards, version control practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Required Skills

- Robust hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+ and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience developing REST APIs and backend applications.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP),



SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and ORM technologies.
- Knowledge of dependency injection, asynchronous programming, and exception handling.

SQL Server – Strong Expertise Required

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
- Strong hands-on experience developing stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Expertise in query optimization, execution plan analysis, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of transactions, locking, blocking, deadlocks, and database concurrency.
- Experience with database design, normalization, constraints, and referential integrity.
- Ability to troubleshoot slow-running queries and resolve database-related performance bottlenecks.

Additional Skills

- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.
- Understanding of unit testing and debugging practices.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and mentor junior developers when required.
