About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned healthcare consultant to lead and shape technology transformation engagements for large US health systems. You will advise senior clinical, operational and IT leaders on complex programs such as EHR modernization, cloud migration, interoperability and digital front door initiatives, and you will turn strategy into delivered, measurable outcomes.

This is a client-facing role for someone who is equally comfortable in a CIO briefing, a clinical workflow session and a program governance meeting.

What You Will Do

- Lead discovery, assessment and roadmap work for enterprise health IT transformation across multi-hospital systems and integrated delivery networks
- Advise executives (CIO, CMIO, CNIO, CFO, COO) on technology strategy, vendor selection, business cases and investment prioritization
- Design and guide implementation of solutions across EHR (Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, MEDITECH), ERP, revenue cycle, patient access and analytics platforms
- Drive interoperability and data strategy, including HL7, FHIR, APIs, TEFCA participation and compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act information blocking rules
- Partner with clinical leaders to redesign workflows and lead change management, training and adoption
- Shape and sell solutions: contribute to proposals, scoping, pricing and statements of work, and support pursuit and client presentations
- Build thought leadership and reusable assets, frameworks and accelerators for the practice
- Mentor consultants and analysts

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare consulting,



health IT or health system technology leadership
- Proven track record on large-scale IT transformation programs at major US health systems or academic medical centers (multi-year, multi-million-dollar scope)
- Hands-on experience with at least one major EHR platform and its surrounding ecosystem
- Strong understanding of US healthcare operations, including provider workflows, revenue cycle, value-based care and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CMS, ONC)
- Experience advising at the executive level, with excellent presentation, writing and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated program or project delivery leadership, including governance, budgeting and risk management
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (health informatics, business, engineering, nursing, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience at a consulting firm, EHR vendor or inside a health system IT organization
- Experience with cloud migration (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity and data platform modernization
- Exposure to AI and automation in clinical or administrative settings, including governance and responsible use
- Clinical background (RN, MD, pharmacist) or deep clinical informatics experience
- Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, MS Informatics)
