JD Pharma Consultants is looking for a skilled and technically sound Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in electrical system design, engineering calculations, and technical documentation for Pharmaceutical, Industrial, or MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design HT/LT electrical distribution systems, including SLDs and power distribution layouts.
- Prepare electrical load calculations, cable sizing, cable routing, and voltage drop calculations.
- Perform transformer, DG set, UPS, and electrical equipment sizing.
- Design substation layouts, electrical panel layouts, and cable tray routing.
- Prepare lighting layouts, lux level calculations, and power distribution drawings.
- Work on power factor correction, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, material take-offs, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with HVAC, Mechanical, Civil, and other engineering departments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards and project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.




- Hands-on experience in Electrical Design Engineering, not only site execution or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, SLDs, cable sizing, load calculations, and electrical layouts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Experience in preparing BOQs and electrical engineering documentation.
- Understanding of relevant IS/IEC standards and electrical design practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Plants, Industrial Projects, Engineering Consultancies, or MEP Design.
- Experience in electrical design for cleanrooms and pharmaceutical facilities will be an added advantage.
- Ability to independently prepare and review electrical design drawings and calculations.
- Solid technical coordination and problem-solving skills.
