Role Description The Senior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The Senior

Designer will be responsible for developing detailed façade and glazing system designs, including concept layouts, technical drawings, shop drawings, and coordination details aligned with architectural and structural requirements. Day-to-day activities include collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients, reviewing design inputs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and optimizing designs for feasibility, safety, and aesthetics. The role involves supervising and mentoring junior designers, performing design reviews, coordinating with manufacturing and installation teams,



and resolving design-related issues during project execution.

The Senior

Designer will also contribute to design innovation, support bid and proposal documentation, and maintain accurate design records and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Robust façade and glazing design skills, including experience with curtain walls, cladding systems, and architectural metal works.
- Proficiency in CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or equivalent) for detailed drawings and 3D modeling.
- Solid understanding of structural behavior, materials (glass, aluminum, steel, and composites), and building envelope performance.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices for façades and glazing systems.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, MEP) and managing design interfaces.
- Ability to lead, guide, and review work of junior designers, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented approach to complex design challenges.
- Effective communication and documentation skills, including the ability to present and explain design concepts to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in façade design or a similar role within the construction or architectural industry, preferably on large-scale projects.
