Key Information About Position LevelsDI's position grading differs from that of many other consulting and advisory firms. Based on our experience comparing responsibilities, capabilities, and compensation across firms, a candidate holding a Manager title elsewhere may be more appropriately aligned with an Associate Manager position at DI. Similarly, an Associate Manager at another firm may be considered for a Senior Consultant position at DI.

We assess candidates based on their actual capabilities, relevant experience, responsibilities, and compensation expectations rather than their current job titles.

We strongly encourage applications from professionals who prioritize the substance of the role, professional development, and career opportunities over job titles.

Candidates who consider retaining or upgrading their current title a non-negotiable requirement are kindly requested not to apply.

Compensation Structure

- For suitable candidates, the expected increase in fixed CTC is approximately 10–20% over their current fixed CTC, excluding variable compensation, depeding on situation.
- In addition, DI offers a performance-linked variable bonus ranging from 0% to 25% of fixed CTC, subject to applicable policies and performance assessment.
- Candidates should apply only if this compensation structure is broadly aligned with their expectations.

Why Join DI?
- Work directly with Japanese corporations on strategic investment and business expansion opportunities in India.
- Gain exposure to M&A; advisory projects beyond a narrowly defined functional specialization.
- Participate in projects covering M&A; strategy, due diligence, PMI, and value creation.
- Take meaningful ownership of client deliverables and work closely with senior management in a relatively small, entrepreneurial consulting team.
- Develop broader strategy consulting capabilities while building on your existing M&A; expertise
