Role Description The Senior Collection Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun. The person in this role will oversee end-to-end collections activities, including managing portfolios, tracking overdue accounts, and implementing strategies to optimize recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring collection teams, setting and monitoring collection targets, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies.

The Senior Collection

Manager will analyze collection performance data, prepare periodic reports for leadership, and collaborate with credit, operations, and risk teams to refine processes and reduce delinquency. This role also involves resolving complex customer issues, negotiating repayment plans,



and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the collections function.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid collections and recovery management skills, including portfolio monitoring, delinquency control, and negotiation of repayment solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in team leadership and people management, such as mentoring staff, performance monitoring, and coordinating field and back-office collection activities.
- Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including data interpretation, trend analysis, and preparation of clear performance and risk reports for management.
- Candidates should possess customer-centric communication and relationship management skills, including conflict resolution, stakeholder coordination, and professional interaction with clients and partners.
- Candidates should possess process and compliance skills, such as adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal policy implementation, and continuous process improvement in collections.
- Relevant experience in financial services, banking, NBFCs, or fintech collections, preferably in SME/MSME or retail segments.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; advanced certifications in credit or collections management are an advantage.
- Proficiency in using collection systems, CRM tools, and basic office software; familiarity with digital lending platforms is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Dehradun, with strong organizational skills, ethical conduct, and a performance-driven mindset.
