Magtech Group is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior CAD Engineer to strengthen our R&D; team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, along with a solid understanding of mechanical design, fabrication processes, and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Design sheet metal components, weldments, mechanical assemblies, and equipment structures.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, fabrication drawings, and production-ready documentation.
- Generate and prepare DXF files for laser cutting and other manufacturing processes.
- Create equipment layouts, assembly layouts, and 3D visualizations.
- Perform reverse engineering of existing components and equipment.
- Execute design modifications, product improvements, and engineering revisions.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with R&D;,



production, fabrication, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals and engineering drawings.
- Experience in sheet metal design, weldments, assemblies, and fabrication.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, material selection, tolerances, and GD&T.;
- Ability to prepare accurate production and fabrication drawings.
- Experience in DXF preparation, equipment layouts, and reverse engineering.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and design accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
