Role Description The Senior Automation Engineer will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial automation and process control systems for manufacturing clients. This full-time, in office role is based in Hyderabad and involves leading projects from requirements gathering and solution design through commissioning and ongoing support. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and programming control systems, integrating robotics and instrumentation, diagnosing and resolving system issues, and ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Automation and Process Control, including design, programming, and optimization of industrial control systems.
- Hands-on experience with Robotics and related integration in manufacturing environments.
- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, including control panels, wiring, instrumentation, and safety standards.
- Advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex automation, electrical, and control system issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI platforms, industrial communication protocols, and field instrumentation.
- Proven track record leading automation projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and meeting project timelines.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Familiarity with industrial safety regulations, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
