(JD) – Renewable Energy Project Lead / Program Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and management of renewable energy and energy transition initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, deep sector knowledge, and the ability to work with government stakeholders and industry partners to drive impactful energy programs.

Educational Qualifications

- MBA / PGDM / M.Tech from a Top 50 Institute as per NIRF Ranking 2025.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or B.Sc. in Engineering.

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Renewable Energy or Energy Transition sector within the Power Sector.
- Proven experience in Project Management and/or Program Management.
- Experience in implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of large-scale renewable energy programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee renewable energy projects and programs from planning through execution.
- Support implementation and monitoring of government and renewable energy initiatives, including:
- PM Suryaghar
- PM Kusum
- Government Building Rooftop Solarization
- Green Hydrogen Projects
- Floating Solar Projects
- Small Hydro Projects




- Provide advisory support on emerging renewable energy technologies and sector developments.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and preparation of reports, presentations, and policy recommendations.
- Coordinate with government departments, utilities, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Solid communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound understanding of Renewable Energy policies, regulations, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in research, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver outcomes within timelines.

- Renewable Energy Policy and Regulatory Affairs.
- Solar Energy, Green Hydrogen, Floating Solar, and Small Hydro Projects.
- Program Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Energy Transition and Sustainability Initiatives.
