Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, maintenance of ledgers, and timely preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll coordination, and monitoring project-related expenses and budgets. The role will support statutory compliances, including taxation, audits, and regulatory filings, while maintaining proper documentation and internal controls.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, audit processes, and familiarity with current accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in MS Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and project accounting, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
