Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. This full-time, on-site role in Santacruz, Mumbai (Mon-Sat) involves preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flows, and ensuring accurate recording of production-related expenses and revenues. The individual will oversee compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation requirements, GST, tally and internal controls, while supporting audits and responding to queries from management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in core accounting activities, including ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with budgeting,



forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control in a project-based or production environment.
- Knowledge of taxation laws, regulatory compliance, and audit processes relevant to Indian businesses.
- Ability to work with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and financial reports.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English language communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; skilled qualifications such as CA or CMA are an advantage.
- Prior experience in the entertainment, media, or production industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Role Related
