The ideal candidate should have experience with US-GAAP, general accounting, account reconciliations, Power BI dashboards, and automation of accounting processes.

Role & Responsibilities

- Creating and recording complex journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and with respective supporting documentation with an understanding of the financial statement impact
- Reconcile, research and resolve complex general ledger accounts to minimize risk and protect company assets as well as document the findings for management.
- Perform comprehensive research and analysis; ability to present and explain results.
- Assists in the development, implementation and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.



Establishes “Best Practices” and formulate solutions as it relates to creating efficiencies and automations.
- Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required.

Qualifications

- 4+ years' of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient in Excel at an intermediate or higher level.
- Experience in Power BI
- Experience in US GAAP
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, detail-orientated and the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (written and oral).
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to establish productive relationships with internal and external partners.
- Ability to exercise judgment, handle multiple projects simultaneously with excellent problem-solving skills.

Nice- to-Have Skills

- CPA license a plus
- Timeshare / Hospitality industry experience a plus
- Public Accounting experience a plus.
- Process Improvement experience a plus.
