Role Description The Shopify Developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining the company’s Shopify-based e-commerce presence. Day-to-day tasks include developing and modifying Shopify themes, integrating apps and third-party services, optimizing site performance, and ensuring a seamless customer journey from product browsing to checkout. The role will work closely with merchandising, marketing,



and operations teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and support product launches, promotions, and UX enhancements.

Developer will also monitor website analytics, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement best practices for security, SEO, and scalability. This is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Shopify development, including theme customization, Liquid templating, and store configuration.
- Solid front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design for cross-device compatibility.
- Experience integrating Shopify apps, payment gateways, and APIs to extend store functionality.
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including SEO, performance optimization, and conversion-focused UX.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Prior experience in retail or hospitality e-commerce is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks on-site.
