Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Shahdol.

The Sales

Officer is responsible for meeting sales targets by managing existing accounts and developing new business within the assigned territory. Daily activities include visiting retailers and distributors, presenting product offerings, negotiating orders, and ensuring timely replenishment of stock. The role involves monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support sales strategies and trade promotions.

The Sales

Officer will also maintain accurate sales records, coordinate closely with the sales operations team,



and provide regular reports and updates to management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to build and maintain skilled relationships with retailers, distributors, and end customers.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Channel Sales experience to expand the customer base and manage multiple sales partners effectively.
- Candidates should possess Sales Operations skills, including basic reporting, territory management, and follow-up on orders and collections.
- Proven experience in FMCG or food product sales, preferably in rice or staples, is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in the field, with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, sales reporting apps) and willingness to learn internal systems.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Shahdol market or nearby regions and willingness to travel locally as required.
