Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist role based in Chennai. The specialist will identify and pursue sales opportunities for exhibitions, trade fairs, and events, build and maintain relationships with clients, and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closure. Daily activities include promoting company services, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful event execution, and supporting marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.





The role also involves engaging with prospective clients at events, gathering market insights, and contributing to strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Solid Communication skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams effectively.
- Customer Service skills to provide responsive support, manage client expectations, and foster long-term relationships.
- Sales and Sales Management skills to drive revenue growth, manage pipelines, and achieve targets in events and exhibitions.
- Training experience to guide team members or partners on sales processes, offerings, and promotional activities.
- Knowledge of marketing principles, preferably with exposure to digital marketing and event promotion.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, with flexibility to attend events and client meetings as required.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in proposals and event coordination.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in events, trade fairs, advertising, or related industries is an advantage.
