About Internship

We are an early-stage startup building a business from scratch, and we are looking for an intern to work on sales and marketing. This internship is for job seekers who have completed their studies and are ready to work full-time. It is not open to students. Interns who perform well will be offered a full time role with us.

This is not a desk internship with a fixed routine. You will work directly with the founder, see how a business is built from the ground up, and take on real responsibility from your first week. If you want exposure, learning, and hands-on experience more than anything else, read on.

What you will do

Sales

- Find and reach out to potential customers by phone, WhatsApp, and in-person visits.
- Follow up on leads, explain our products, and close orders.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, dealers and partners.

Marketing

- Plan and post content on our social media channels.
- Support online campaigns, promotions and local marketing activities.
- Collect customer feedback and market insights from the field.

Supporting tasks

- Coordinate orders, deliveries and vendors.
- Keep sales, stock and customer records up to date in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Prepare simple reports and presentations for the founder.
- Take on whatever the business needs that week; in a startup, everyone does a bit of everything.

Who we are looking for

Must have

- Real passion and enthusiasm for business: you enjoy selling, talking to people and figuring out how things work.




- Fluent in Tamil and English (spoken).
- Basic computer skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Your own laptop, mobile phone, and two-wheeler (with a valid driving licence).
- Willing to travel for customer visits, market visits, and events.

Good to have

- Hindi.
- Any attempt at entrepreneurship: a small business, freelancing, reselling, or running a social media channel or page. Tell us about it, even if it didn't work out.
- Any sales, marketing or customer-facing experience, from a previous job, a business, or freelance work.
- Living in or near Vandalur, Chennai.

Internship Details

- Stipend (during internship): ₹5,000 per month
- Duration: 1 Month
- After the internship: Full-time role for selected interns
- Working days: 4 days a week: 3 weekdays + 1 weekend day
- Work mode: Hybrid; come to the office when required
- Location: Office near Vandalur, Chennai, plus field travel
- You bring: Your own laptop, mobile phone, and two-wheeler
