Role Description The Quality Expert Accounts Receivable - Hospital Billing is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for reviewing hospital billing and accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance with client and regulatory guidelines, and adherence to internal quality standards. Daily tasks include auditing AR workflows, identifying billing and posting discrepancies, validating data against source documentation, and providing feedback to operations teams to improve process quality.

The Quality

Expert will track key quality metrics, prepare reports on error trends,



and collaborate with supervisors and training teams to implement corrective actions and best practices. The role also involves supporting process improvements, participating in calibration sessions, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hospital billing rules and payer requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret AR data, identify patterns, and perform root cause analysis on quality issues.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills to conduct audits, validate billing accuracy, and ensure adherence to established standards.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Quality Management and Quality System to support process design, continuous improvement, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Relevant experience in hospital billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management within a healthcare environment.
- Robust attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and proficiency with spreadsheets and billing/AR systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment and meet quality and productivity targets.
- Graduate degree in commerce, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
