Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration.

Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines and integrate various components of the development ecosystem.

Your role includes continuous testing efforts focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression to ensure the highest quality standards. You develop and maintain automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report defects, and contribute to ongoing improvements throughout the entire testing lifecycle.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the development lifecycle.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Monitor testing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies including regression, security, and API testing.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and communicate findings effectively to development teams.
- Knowledge of environment and data configuration to support diverse testing scenarios.

Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
