Role Description The PV Design Engineer/Senior Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves developing detailed designs and layouts for utility-scale PV solar projects, including system configuration, equipment selection, and integration with mechanical and electrical components. The individual will prepare CAD drawings, technical documentation, and design reports, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include performing engineering calculations,



supporting product design decisions, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and resolving technical issues during project development. The role also requires close collaboration with project managers and other engineers to deliver accurate, effective, and cost-effective solar designs.

Qualifications

- Strong design engineering skills with experience of 1-5Years in utility-scale PV systems and product design.
- Knowledge of Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering principles related to PV systems, including power distribution, grid interconnection and ground mount.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed layouts, drawings, and schematics.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering discipline.
- Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and best practices for utility-scale solar projects.
- Ability to analyze data, perform engineering calculations, and document design decisions clearly.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Prior experience in PV solar design or renewable energy projects is highly desirable.
