Role Description The Purchase Executive role is a full-time, in office position based in Patiala. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing and processing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging.

Executive will track inventory levels, monitor market prices, and negotiate terms to optimize cost and quality for cattle feed and mustard oil production.



The role includes maintaining accurate purchase records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with production, quality, and finance teams for smooth operations.

Executive will also support vendor evaluation, relationship management, and continuous improvement in procurement p rocesses.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Procurement to handle end-to-end buying processes and vendor coordination.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in procurement or purchasing within manufacturing, food, agro, or related industries is beneficial.
- Knowledge of inventory control, basic commercial terms, and vendor evaluation practices is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, or a related field is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office or ERP systems and the ability to work with data and reports will be helpful.
