About the RoleOriana Energies Waaree Franchise is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase & Operations Engineer to join our team in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for procurement, vendor coordination, inventory management, and day-to-day operational activities related to solar products and electrical materials.

The ideal candidate should have solid coordination and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure timely procurement and smooth business operations. Experience in the solar or electrical industry will be an advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase & Procurement

- Manage purchasing activities for solar products, electrical components, and other required materials.
- Obtain and compare vendor quotations based on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.

Vendor Management

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, dispatches, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
- Support vendor evaluation and cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Inventory & Operations





- Monitor stock levels and ensure material availability as per business requirements.
- Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and accounts teams for smooth operations.
- Track material receipts, dispatches, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Maintain purchase records, inventory reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Resolve purchase and material-related issues in coordination with internal teams.

Eligibility & Skills

- Graduate in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in purchase, procurement, or operations.
- Experience in the solar energy or electrical industry will be preferred.
- Good communication, negotiation, and vendor coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, inventory management, and procurement documentation.
- Ability to multitask, organize work efficiently, and meet deadlines.
