Role Description This Public Relations Sales internship is a hybrid role based in New Delhi, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will support outreach to startups and partners, helping identify potential stories and collaboration opportunities that align with Startup Story®’s mission. Daily tasks include drafting PR materials, assisting in media outreach, coordinating with internal content and marketing teams, and maintaining relationships with startups and ecosystem stakeholders.

The role also involves tracking coverage,



updating contact databases, preparing reports, and contributing ideas to improve brand visibility and audience engagement. The intern will gain hands-on experience in public relations, sales outreach, and startup ecosystem engagement while working closely with senior team members.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Public Relations and Media Relations, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Experience or interest in drafting Press Releases and other PR collateral for external communication.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English.
- Understanding of Strategic Communications, brand positioning, and message consistency across channels.
- Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and storytelling, with the ability to identify compelling narratives.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from New Delhi, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Pursuing or completed studies in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic proficiency with office productivity tools and familiarity with social media platforms used for PR and outreach.
