About the Role

- We are seeking a proactive, technically capable Project & Operations Manager to independently oversee project execution and studio operations.
- You will manage projects from approved design concepts through technical development, costing, fabrication, procurement, logistics, installation, and handover.
- While the creative team leads concept design, you will take ownership of bringing those concepts to life.
- This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how things are made, can manage complex execution challenges, and takes responsibility for delivering results.
- The role will suit professionals from architectural practice, interior and spatial design, design education, fabrication, or related fields who are comfortable translating design intent into buildable, well-executed outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Management: Independently plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects, managing schedules, budgets, resources, and quality.
- Technical & Fabrication Coordination: Oversee shop drawings, technical detailing, engineering coordination, metal fabrication, finishing, and quality control.
- Design Translation: Interpret architectural and design concepts, identify execution requirements, and coordinate with designers, architects, consultants, and fabricators to preserve design intent.




- Vendor & Procurement Management: Source materials, manage fabricators and contractors, negotiate costs, and ensure timely procurement.
- Commercial Management: Prepare estimates, quotations, project budgets, purchase orders, and track expenses and payments.
- Client Coordination: Manage project communication, technical approvals, progress updates, and execution-related decisions.
- Logistics & Installations: Coordinate transportation, site preparation, equipment, manpower, installations, and handovers.
- Studio Operations: Manage teams, delegate responsibilities, maintain project documentation, improve workflows, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document processes, develop practical systems, and contribute to a culture of learning across design, fabrication, and project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

- 5–12 years of relevant experience in architecture, interior design, design education, architectural fabrication, metalwork, bespoke manufacturing, architectural installations, interior execution, or related industr
- ies.Proven ability to independently manage projects, vendors, teams, timelines, and budg
- ets.Sound understanding of fabrication processes, materials, construction detailing, and site execut
- ion.Ability to interpret CAD drawings, 3D models, design presentations, and technical documentat
- ion. Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar software is desira
- ble.Proficiency in Excel, digital tools, and project management syst
- ems.Strong communication, negotiation, organisational, and problem-solving ski




- lls.Ability to communicate effectively with architects, designers, students, educators, consultants, fabricators, and clients.Willingness to travel for workshop supervision, site visits, and installations.
