Role Description The Project Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal, responsible for overseeing end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of highway and infrastructure projects. The role involves managing project schedules, budgets, and resources, coordinating with site engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

The Project

Head will review technical designs and drawings, monitor progress against milestones, resolve operational issues, and implement risk mitigation strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities also include leading project review meetings, preparing status reports, optimizing construction processes,



and supporting senior management in strategic decision-making related to project portfolios.

Qualifications

- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management for large infrastructure or construction projects.
- Technical expertise in civil engineering, highway or bridge construction, and familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising multidisciplinary site teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client interaction, contractor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency with project management and construction-related software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD or similar).
- Ability to analyze project data, prepare reports, and make data-informed decisions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience (typically 10+ years) in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in highways or related sectors.
- Commitment to workplace safety, ethical practices, and continuous improvement in construction processes.
