Role Description The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at the Hosur facility. This position oversees daily shop-floor operations, ensuring production plans are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards and delivery commitments.

Responsibilities include managing and guiding production teams, monitoring output against schedules, coordinating with maintenance, quality, and logistics, and escalating issues that may impact delivery or safety. The role involves tracking performance metrics, implementing process improvements,



supporting root-cause analysis for defects or downtime, and maintaining documentation and reports required for audits.

The Production

Supervisor is also expected to promote a culture of continuous improvement, adherence to standard operating procedures, and clear communication across shifts.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, shift management, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and managing Production Schedules to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Candidates should possess abilities in Production Management, including resource allocation, coordination with cross-functional teams, and workflow optimization.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for transparent instructions, reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in automotive component manufacturing or similar high-volume production environments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety standards, quality systems (such as ISO/TS/IATF), and basic lean or continuous improvement practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop-floor environment, use production reporting tools, and respond promptly to operational issues.
