We’re Hiring: PLC Engineer – Automation & Control

Location: Hosur, Bangalore

Experience: 5–8 Years

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical / BE (EEE) / B.Tech in Electrical

We are looking for an experienced PLC Engineer to manage and troubleshoot PLC-based automation and control systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PLC programming, SCADA systems, electrical maintenance, and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems, including Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Panasonic.
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot ladder logic and control programs.
- Work on Studio 5000 and TwinCAT logic.
- Diagnose machine breakdowns and resolve automation-related faults.
- Troubleshoot HMI alarms and identify root causes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SCADA systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot VFDs, sensors, HMIs, and other field devices.
- Handle control panel wiring and electrical circuit troubleshooting.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of automation systems.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain PLC backups and documentation of program changes and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety and operational standards.

Required Skills





- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Mitsubishi PLCs.
- Experience with Studio 5000 and TwinCAT logic.
- Mandatory experience in SCADA systems within industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, control circuits, and panel wiring.
- Experience troubleshooting VFDs, sensors, HMI alarms, and industrial automation equipment.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in PLC-based machine maintenance within manufacturing industries.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
