- Hands-on experience with PLC programming platforms such as CODESYS, TwinCAT, and Siemens TIA Portal/ Schneider . (Must have 8+ years of experience).

- Strong expertise in offline PLC software development using the above-mentioned platforms.

- Proficiency in PLC programming languages including Function Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Text (ST), Structured Control Language (SCL), and Ladder Logic (LD).

- Good understanding of PLC data structures and data types such as Enumerations, Structures, User-Defined Types (UDTs), and custom data types.

- Proven experience in PLC software development, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting using the above programming languages.

- Knowledge and hands-on experience in Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and Servo Drive configuration, commissioning, and debugging.

- Experience in HMI and SCADA application development, including integration with PLC systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

- Experience in industrial automation and machine commissioning projects.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PLC-Automation Engineer position based in Pune City. The role involves designing, programming, and commissioning automation solutions using CODESYS, TwinCAT, and Siemens TIA Portal/Schneider platforms for industrial and process control applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing PLC logic, HMI/SCADA configurations, testing and debugging control programs, and ensuring seamless integration with electrical and mechanical systems.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create technical documentation, and support installation, start-up, and optimization of automated systems at customer sites. The role also includes diagnosing issues, performing root-cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with relevant safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

- Strong automation and process control skills, including hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial control systems.
- Solid electrical engineering knowledge for interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and integrating control hardware.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics for PLCs, field devices, communication networks, and control loops.
- Experience with robotics or motion control systems and their integration with PLC-based architectures.
- Minimum 8 years of experience working with CODESYS, TwinCAT, and Siemens TIA Portal/Schneider platforms in industrial environments.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation, including functional specifications, I/O lists, and test protocols.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, EtherCAT) and safety PLC concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients on-site.
- Willingness to work on shop floors and customer locations as required, adhering to all safety and quality practices.
