Job Responsibilities
Design fire-fighting systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, wet risers, and fire pumps.
Prepare fire protection layouts, schematic drawings, hydraulic calculations, and BOQs.
Ensure compliance with NBC, relevant IS standards, NFPA standards, and local fire authority requirements.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, and electrical teams.
Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications.
Assist with site inspections, installation coordination, testing, and commissioning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP knowledge is an advantage.
Valuable understanding of fire protection design, codes, and hydraulic calculations.
